MILLWALL RUN CONTINUES....AT A COST

HARTLEPOOL 2 MILLWALL 2
ATT: 4,365

Millwall fought hard to get an excellent away point at 3rd placed Hartlepool in tonight's Division 4 clash. Millwall are on a good run with 3 wins and 2 draws in their first 5 league matches. WWDWD

The match was evenly balanced with 50%/50% possession However it was the home team that took the lead when EDERSON scored on 25mins. Millwall had to find an extra gear to get back into the match and they equalised when ELIAS scored on 37mins to make it 1-1 at the interval.

After the break, MILLWALL attacked from the off and on the 69th minute, MALOUDA scored to put the away side 2-1 in front. Hartlepool were dangerous and a late goal on 80 mins by BENT - a Millwall target last season - levelled it to share the points.

MILLWALL RUN CONTINUES...AT A COST

Millwall had a massive blow in tonight's match at Hartlepool when LUCAS BARRIOS (The Panther) was badly injured.

LUCAS BARRIOS injured in tonight's match

Millwall's great start to the season was mainly down to the goals scored by Lucas Barrios.
Here's his record  to date

PLAYED = 5
SCORED = 5
ASSISTS = 1
MOM =  2
AV RAT = 7.80

The PANTHER will be out injured for approx 4 weeks and will not return to action until around 3rd December

THIERRY HENRY will replace BARRIOS for now - HENRY was bought to use as cover so this is his chance to shine and prove to us that we were right to buy him.
